Canfornav's Fleet Expansion Continues

Canfornav moved into the Supramax size in 2011 and 2012 with the construction and delivery of the 57,000 DWT vessels M/V Pintail and M/V Scoter.

We are pleased to announce that our expansion into larger sizes continues with the order for two 64,000 DWT Ultramax vessels from the Zhengzhou shipyard in China.  The vessels are scheduled for delivery in the first and second quarters of 2015.

Additionally, orders have been placed for six 36,000 DWT Handysize vessels from the Yangfan shipyard, two for delivery in the last quarter of 2013, one for the first quarter of 2014, one for the second quarter of 2014 and the remainder for the third quarter of 2014.

The delivery of these new vessels will allow us to expand our trading patterns with a good mix of tonnage to service our customers' needs.
