The Law

The Company is committed to operating in compliance with applicable laws and regulations in force from time to time. The Company is further committed to respecting economic or trade sanctions or official embargo measures imposed by the United Nations, the E.U., the United States of America and/or Canada.

Human Rights

The Company shall take all reasonable steps not to breach any fundamental human rights in the countries in which it operates or be complicit in the breach of such rights by third parties.

Labour

The Company shall not knowingly employ any underage workers, as defined by applicable local laws, or use forced labour, which consists of any work or service not voluntarily performed that is exacted from an individual under threat or force of penalty.

Health And Safety

The Company is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for its employees as well as providing its employees with appropriate training, if required. The Company is further committed to ensuring that personnel onboard ships, operated by the Company, are provided with adequate personal protective equipment, taking into account the inherent risks of working onboard such ships.

Environmental Stewardship

The Company shall take all reasonable steps to comply with all relevant environmental laws and regulations in the countries in which it operates and take all reasonable measures to minimize the impact of its operations on the local environment and community.

Business Integrity

The Company shall engage and uphold high standards of business ethics and not engage in illegal activities such as corruption, bribery, fraud, extortion or money laundering.
